I remember watching Penn and Teller, David Copperfield, and various other magic shows on TV as a kid. Magic always fascinated me, but it wasn’t until I saw Bill Malone on The World’s Greatest Magic that I truly felt compelled to learn how to perform like him.
My passion didn’t ignite fully until I watched David Blaine’s first magic special. With the advent of the internet becoming widely accessible, I used it to discover and study magic—something I continue to do to this day. This post kicks off a series dedicated to showcasing incredible, fun, and captivating magic tricks and performers to a broader audience. It’s all too easy to come across poor-quality magic performed poorly, so this is my small effort to help grow and improve the magic community.

Bill Malone is an extraordinary performer, entertainer, and teacher. A student of Ed Marlo, he spent years learning alongside Marlo, Simon Aronson, Steve Draun, Dave Solomon, and many others. Bill is not only hilariously entertaining but has also generously shared invaluable insights into the business of performing magic. His six-DVD set, Malone Meets Marlo, is an outstanding introduction to Ed Marlo’s work and card magic. The videos below are highlights from his On The Loose DVD series! Enjoy!
Enjoy the one and only Bill Malone!
I truly hope that you find just as much joy and excitement in watching Bill perform his incredible and astonishing magic as I always do every single time!
